How does our Point System work?

Freshmen: 180 points
Sophomores: 150 points
Juniors: 110 points
Seniors: 60 points

1 Hour at an Event: 4 points
Every Meeting Attended: 1 point

Depending on which grade you are currently in, you have to accumulate at least the mentioned amount of points throughout your years in Octagon to gain a Lynbrook cord. More specifications shown in the award form at the bottom. 

AWARDs

  • Octagon Gold Service Award = 50 hours 

  • Octagon Silver Service Award = 30 hours 

  • Octagon Bronze Service Award = 15 hours

  • A medal as well as a signed certificate

- The opportunity to compete and win essay, speech, and leadership competitions winning thousands of dollars in scholarships!
